I just picked up a DX hatch... I used to have a 94 coupe EX... I wanna know should i take the d16z6 and put it in the hatch? Here is the prob there both auto...

sooo not really much of a power gain... soo I was also thinking B16a2 with a A3 auto tranny.....

I DONT AND WILL NOT DO A AUTO TO STICK SWAP!!! NOT LOOKING TO DRIVE STICK!!!!!
call me a ***** or w/e but i just rather not with traffic and **** so

A: D16z6 that i own in the EX

why not get a auto trans out of a dc2 and swap to a b18b or even a b16/b18c? i have actually given this swap some thought, as i had some leg issues a while back and was thinking about what to do in the event i lose a leg.....

Dude you live 30 minutes from me. What traffic? I drive my **** everyday on 95. Its not as bad as you think..

But i would do a DOHC swap with an auto trans if your gonna do that. LS auto tranny with ECU from a 94-95 should work mint. Lemme know if you need a hand man, im right around the corner.

I drive from new haven to fairfield/norwalk every day with a stick, and sometimes it's a pain in the ***.

If I remember correctly a B-series automatic swap is a REAL pain in the ***, and requires alot of extra work. I think that Tom(moderator) did or attempted one of these at his shop and said it wasn't worth it.

My DX has 175 so i was thinking why not just put my old motor in the hatchie but then i was like thats kinda wack ... but as of right now i dont even know anyone who can do the swap for me... so yeah if theres anyone from CT that lives near bpo... or fairfeld that be tight because i work in fairfeld and ****..

i have never had a problem driving stick in traffic, not once. I don't even understand how it can be a complaint, just drive the damn car.

But anyway, go with a b16/b18 and auto. Check out http://hmotorsonline.com

i just ordered my d15b from them, and the engine they sent me was great.

If your going to use a auto tranny dont use the stock torqe converter, they make some that are better for racing i forget what there called because i have a stick myself and never needed one, but i would recomend that if you want to do anything more then daily driven, it would improve your times by not having as much of a lag before the power is transfered to the wheels, and uses less horepower i belive....
