no. your motor wouldnt be able to use the air at the rate its coming in, so it would just be overkill. just get a regular CAI, or one of those short intakes for better throttle response.

kinda like the dual snorkle breathers on older domestic engines....
edit: ive actually seen a 3rd gen camaro with dual air filters that came down under his grill.

did you know that an intake can be tuned? at a certain RPM, the air coming in an intake shaped a certain way can actually cause the wind speed to actually increase significantly? it has to do with the motor creating intake pulses. I like the bling on the valve cover, but I think air pressure would be lost in the crank case. However, the extra intake filter on the valve cover probably wouldn't hurt.

Yes it does exist HKS makes it but its mainly for Supras and Skylines etc.

What you fail to take into account is the fact that the filter creates restriction. Increasing the overall filter area (in this case, by adding a second one), if done properly so as to maintain intake velocity, could certainly yield gains over a more restrictive setup.

yes i have and plenty of them, and yes the two turbos aretogether but they also have seperate pipes that go to each individual turbo. i know for a fact that the fd's are like that

Oversimplified? In what way? How exactly do you think other intakes produce power over a stock setup? By all means, I encourage you to add further detail to my "oversimplified explanation" for the benefit of the members here.
