Default dual bend vs single bend short shifter

I want to buy a short shifter for my civic. I am curious if there is any difference between a single bend and a dual bend shifter. Does one work better than the other? Any advice as to what brand to buy is also appreciated.

IMO shifters are all about personal preference, so you'll just have to see what works best for you. I'm very happy with my oem integra shifter.

Yes single bend has one bend in it and dual bend has 2 bends.

IMO no one does not work "better" than any other. Shifters are a matter of personal preference and feel. To me my stock shifter feels good so I will leave it that way.

People will say stay away from the 20$ ebay specials, some of them tend to snap.

It really comes down to picking one (thats made well of course) and seeing if you like that feel.

with that I just wanted to make sure you knew that it was a simple thing that pretty much depends on the feel, and not some special magic advantage one had over the other. Just personal preference. And hey you asked, I just stated the obvious!

if you're taller, you may want the dual bend (that's what i got) because of the reach when the seat is back
