Default Dual bend in del sol?

Hey I was just wondering if anybody has ever had a dual bend short shifter in a del sol, I've been looking at the Skunk2 shifter+shift **** but I'd like to know how it's going to feel in the sol

well I know they don't normally but the del sol shifter sits a little higher (thats why you can only use a del sol shift linkage). I faintly remember somebody selling their SK2 cause they said it actually sat higher then the stock shifter in their sol

dont waste over 100 for a throw shifter... go on ebay and get yourself a good one for like 30 bucks... i gotten one for my hatch and spent like 30-40 bucks and its great

agree, a weighted **** and cheap SS is all you need.

or you could drop like 150 for a sperical bearing SS. they're nice.

but if not cheap SS will work just as well.

it will only break if you shift it like superman and slam it into all your gears!!!!

well I decided to get the Skunk2 dual bend/Skunk2 shift **** and I was right.. the shifter actually sits a little higher then the stock one but the throw is a lot shorter. Overall I like it though, combining the SK2 with some Energy suspension shifter bushings was a hell of an upgrade. The gears are short and tight, almost like flipping a switch
