DTC code 4! tried everything please look....
first id like to say that i have been researching this problem on this site and others for the past few days now and everything i read said to replace the dizzy, but before i replaced it i used my multimeter to test the sensors in the dizzy. the new dizzy measured about .357 k/ohms so i installed it. the new dizzy was a jdm d15b dizzy.
at first it wouldnt start, found out the coil was bad so replaced. now im back at square one with no direction.
symtoms:
code 4
no rev past 3k
throttle lag bad bad
thats about it, i just need some guidance on what to try next. i spent all day today testing things and trying this and that but got no new results.
also here is some more info
i threw a rod a few months back and decided to just throw another z6 in it, which is what i did, after the swap it started right up but throwing the code 4.
my engine setup:
stock z6/head
dsm turbo setup
chipped p28
previous engine was tuned on 6psi so i jus stuck with that for now.
if anyone can help me with this i would greatly appreciate it...
thank you.

The CKP sensor has two wires that run to the ECU (terminals B15 and B16). Unplug ECU connector B and measure the resistance between B15 and B16.

okay so i found the problem with the ckp sensor, the blu and green wire was broken right before the connector to the dizzy so i soldered it back together and used heat shrink to protect it...
but now the car wont start again, i tested the coil and the secondary measured like 22.14 k/ohms and the primary was just under 1 ohm so i think the coil is okay, i triple checked all the connectors that i unplugged when fixing the wire that was broken but still had no luck, its getting fuel so i know that it isnt that
the only other thing i can think of is that i was working on it while it was sprinkling outside so maybe i caught some moisture in the dizzy or inside one of the electrical connectors while i had them disconnected
any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated
thank you

Told you to trace the ckp wires back through your connectors to your ecu, and there it was the pinched wire of doom right by your engine harness connectors to your main harness

The wire that got pinched was actually right before the dizzy connector coming from the engine harness, I honestly don't now how I missed it, but now I need to figure out why I'm not getting spark
