How much did u guys pay for ur Dseries tranny's? im prolly gonna get a ex/si tranny for my 92 hatch dx.

hey whats up man im in pasadena...i got a d15b tranny for sale..suppossed to be the same as the ex/si ..except i believe the d15b tranny's fifth gear is a little lower than that of the ex/si one..the tranny has under 50k miles on it ..its in perfect workin order..no grinds..i was lookin to get like $150 for it..but we can negotiate...i got a few other things for sale for an eg if u want lemme know..aaight peace

I pay no more than $100.00 for s40 and s20 even cheaper.

I got mine with all the stuff for a swap into an AT for $150 total. That included starter, lines, bolts, all the extra parts.

It was a good deal. But you get the idea that you shouldn't be paying $200 for a trans.

sorry guys but what is the difference or what tranny is the y8, z6, s40, or s20? also im in south cali 626. do u guys know where i can pick one up. right now im broke so i gotta start working.

I would stay away from junk yards for trannys, every junkyard up here in Maine wants 350 for a z6 tranny and 400 for a y8. Your best bet is to look in the classifieds, people always sell them cheap to get rid of them. Not too long ago there was a y8 for 150 shipped.
