Dropping b18b Motor Into 99 Hatch
Supz well I got my motor in the garage and now trying to find a motor I really don't know much about cars, but I would love to drop the motor in myself so I can learn how to do it, seeing that I know know much should I attempt this project or pay someone to do it? And would it be hard to do?

doing the swap yourself is very very possible. I personally..can't give you the know how to do it..but im sure you can find it on websites like hybrid garage..etc.. Or even better hopefully you have a friend or aquaintances that can help you do your swap that has knowledge over how to do it. But before you consider doing it yourself or having a shop do it...you have to think about..how long are you able to go around without a car...or do you have a spare car...etc. I personally let a local shop do my swap and he got it done over night...I paid him 550 to do the swap. If you have the money then let another shop do it. If you have the time and a confident knowledge of how to do your own swap..then go ahead and start getting dirty.

if you have some tools then you can easily do it yourself. do a search, because this has been covered a bunch of times before. if you get a 96-99 b18b then you probably won't even have to change the wiring around. get 99-00 si driver's mount, use the integra passenger and back mount. use integra shift linkage, integra axles, integra ecu.
