Default rubbing with drop and under fender splash guards??

any of you all dropped/slammed and managed to keep under fender splash guards?? i bought my car with out them and the fenders are rolled. i was wondering becaues i keep having to swap out my CAI to short ram when it looks like rain. i am in TX and my car likes the CAI in the 100 plus tempratures....let me know so i can start searching the junk yards for them...

you would have to un roll the fenders.. they would be weak at that point then screw the plastic piece in i have a friend whos pretty slammed (neuspeed race spring) and he has them but does rub occasionally

wth kind of response is that?

teh spash guard doesnt connect to the fender...

i dont think anyone can be slammed on neuspeed springs.

im tucking 2 inchs of tire all around and i still have my under body spash guard.

but thats not going to help so much if you fall into a puddle.

I really can't tell from this thread if it is about the splash/mud guards or if it is about the fender liners

hi, sorry for the confussion....i am talking about the plastic that goes under the fender to keep water from spalshing all up from the tire splash.....basically my CAI is totally exposed with no under splash guard.....i just wanted to know if its possible...thanks for all the replies!!! The Lobster helped by saying that he does have them and is slammed...im going to search the junk yards and i think i know EG hatchguy meant by unrolling the fenders cuz the lining fastens with screws on the rolled part....LOL at the part about fallin in a puddle...nothing can save that...

buy a CAI bypass valve and you wont have to worry about changing your intake every time it rains.

I'm lowered and my fender linings are pretty crappy, I've never had a problem with my CAI though.
