Default Dropped a ******* bolt in the head!

i dropped a ******* bolt down in the head. theres like a little hole right under the valves and it just fell in there...so im guessing im going to have to pull the head??

are you talking about the spark plug hole?

just drop that cylinder to bottom dead center and magnetize a steel coat hanger - fish the bolt out that way
it may be a pain in the ***....but its a **** ton easier than pulling the damn head

Oh nice, i did that before. Drain your oil and drop your pan. Thats an oil drain passage.

Ah yea there is that chance it didnt go all the way down. What you could do is pour some oil down there and itll help it on its way.

yeah, Id try pouring some oil down there too, maybe try the coat hanger thing too...wouldnt hurt anything really

got it out! but it was wedge between the windage tray so had to drop that to shake it loose.

i would have just pulled the pan for the hell of it... gives you a chance to replace the gasket... lol!

Those magnet thingies help ALOT! But it's because of that thing that I moved my timing arrow marker. Now I have no way of adjusting the timing unless I moe the arrow back. NEVER USE THIS DEVICE AS A POINTER!
