I have stage one in my CRX. The parts are quality pieces and I can't complain. The thing about them is that the steel of the shaft is softer on the inside and heat treated to be hard on the outside. This allows the shaft to twist but not break. The places where the CV ***** run are all heat treated as well. If you get a set of remanufactured axels from pep boys/autozone etc they are not heat treated so the they do not cost as much. The other thing about the stage one is the CV joints are designed as a double angle on the tripods. This process allwos smoother power distribution but is harder to manufacture. Honda only uses a single angle.

I have the d16a in my X with I/H/E/cam/ZC tranny. It's a work in progress. I like to autocross it and the replacement axles from autozone start knocking in about 20-30K miles. I figured I better find something better or put wing nuts on the car so it would be easier to take apart.
