drivers side front speaker not working?
I was on a long cruise this past weekend and my drivers side front speaker just stopped working. When I adjust the fad and balance to the drivers side front, all I hear is the tweeter and it barely seems to be working (have to turn up the volume up high to hear it).
This is on a 99 Si. Has anyone else had any issues like this? Is this just the wiring taking a ****?.. (I doubt the speaker is blown cuz I still got the stock head unit in which puts out **** for wattage to the speakers; and if it was blown if it were to blow wouldn't it typically still work but just sound like butt?).

I had to pay like $200 to get this fixed -- I had the same problem.. My wiring was shorted or fugged up somehow.. The honda stealership did it cause BestBuy said they couldn't help me out. It could be though that the speaker has become unclipped or that a wire has frayed out near the speaker. Or that the speaker just stopped working.

check for loose wires on the door speaker....
and if that's not it make sure bare wires aren't touching

firstly just to let oyu know underpowering a speaker can damage it just as easily as overpowering it and if its wiring well its pretty simpe its either at the headunit break in the wire or at the speaker

Mine were doing the same thing but I noticed they stopped working when it rained or went through a car wash. I closed the vents, put the air to come out all the way to the right and switched between defrost in the front and defrost and face level. Put it on high, with the air conditioner on and the temperature up to half way betten cold and hot. It worked every time and came back on
