Default Drain Bolt...

So I bought my car, and the guy wasn't using a reservoir for the overflow and left the drain bolt cracked open.

That gold bolt there... I tried using a ratchet on it with the header on and it was a pain. So my question: what should I do with it? Take the header off and try an impact? Is it possible to strip this out?

Help !!

what are you trying to do? take it off or put it on?

I usually use a big *** breaker bar , and it comes off with a little effort

Is it leaking? A socket and breaker bar should get it loose.

It is open right now. When the car would usually dump fluid into the reservoir, it dumps it out that opening instead.

So a socket and a breaker bar... is it necessary to take the header off?
