Default Down pipe and high flow cat to stock exhuast

I want to boost performance especialy torque in our '99 EX sedan 5-speed. The cat back was replaced with a 2 inch stock system that is in good shape. The down pipe and stock cat are VERY rusty from NH winters. Can I put in a Stainless 2 1/2 inch down pipe and 2 1/2 inch high flow cat to the cat back and get any gains. My girl will not aaprove of a loud system so the cat back has to stay.

If you dont have echeck get a "race-cat" and buy a pack of anti foulers for spark plugs. Put the race cat in and put one of the anti-foulers into the o2 plug and screw the 02 sensor back inplace you will get alittle more like 10hp and no CEL.

I did this on my car and the gain was very noticed. Not one of thoughs "well I think it's faster" kinda parts.
