Default dowel pins

ok im putting my head back on my D16z6 and i need to know if they go on the top or at the bottom of the block because there are 4 holes and only 2 pins?

ok does any one know were they go i cant remember..is it the holes on the intake side or the exhaust side???

Doesnt matter weither you put them on the head or the block first. They only go into 1 place (i think exhaust side but not sure). They go in snug.

well all four holes fill the same..and look the same..and as anyone ever ran without a timing belt cover..lol..mine is no more. i know its to keep rocks and **** out.

I have seen alot of hondas run without them. I dont see a problem with it......except the chance of something flying up and getting in there.
