doubble oil filter seal? is this possible or just B.S??
hey guys i have a 2000 ex with a B16, and i was noticeing at high RPM's only i smelt oil burning. This only happend above 6/7k RPMS.. after a day or so i found oil burning on top of the header, unsure where is was coming from, did not see any one place, bottom of engine was all wet with oil, First thing i thought was oil pan gasket.. brought it intoday to my mechanic, and he told me the oil filter had 2 seals on it, and was leaking, does this sound possible? if this was true, wouldent it leak under any RPM's? Thanks for the help you guys are car savers!

You can double up the gasket and it will leak oil. As the rpm's get higher the oil pressure rises. So I would say yes its possible.
