Door trim near glass - black piece that gets old and breaks
Trying to find out what that trim piece is called. I've been looking on Hondaautomotiveparts.com and i'm thinking it's #3 on this pic:
It's the black piece that runs the length of the door where the glass is. It's black and tends to crack after age then break away revealing the metal underneath.
Need to replace mine but want to make sure i got the right piece...

Looks like the right piece. You might want to go by a dealership and check it out to make sure you have the correct part number before you order.

Word- now that's change right there for a dang trim part. I was pissed when the dealer told me they were that much.

Take pictures of it when you get it and pics of the install would be great. I know I want to replace mine, but I wonder how difficult it is.

if you're talking about the trim on the outside that has the window felt on it, just paint it

Definately don't buy it from the dealer! Just make sure it's the piece your looking for. It's easy as hell to replace. When I got my windows tinted the installer melted the rubber on the drivers side one and I replaced it in like 15 minutes.

I got mine from the junkyard, they look fresh and cost me 20 bucks for 2. Too bad I have a 4dr and the back are still ashy!

I've done that on my CRX, 3 months later, the paint is nearly gone.
I'd rather spend the $50 and keep the car looking mint.
I'm just looking to selling it in a few months and would like to get as much money out of it as possible (considering it's a 94 DX auto w/ AC and 74K miles, trying to get at LEAST $4500).
