Default Door handle install

2000 civic ex, replacing outer drivers side door handle..
I have the 2 10mm bolts out, how do i dissconnect the lock, looks like a bitch pin
Help asap, im in my driveway now, ill go get another

i never messed wit auto locks, but the manual locks was just a clip you have to slip it out of and the bolts.

???? im talkin about the outer handle... there is a levar connected to the spring on the actual handle, and there is a levar connected to the lock

are you talking about the silver lock rod that goes into a 90 degree angle into the lock cylinder, and is pressed in a plastic clip?

On one clip you have to undo the clip from the rod, turn it, and then pull the rod out. On the other clip, take a flathead screwdriver and pop the rod out of the clip.
