Dont know the dam bolt size!!!! Help

Dont know the dam bolt size!!!! Help
Hey i got my engine on the floor right now d16y8 and i think the bolts that go into the engine into the engine stand are 12x1.25 thread, but not sure thats what the helms says, just want to double check, because i cant find the dam bolts anywhere does anyone know if that is the right size please dont start flaming me i know i have the manual, but i dont want to buy them from honda its 20 bucks for 4 bolts i know i can get it cheaper, it transmission mounting bolts right ahh i give up, i went to like 12 different hardware stores looking for 12x1.25 thread, but couldt find it all i know is that its a 17mm head, please help real quick thanks

Wow thats really sad if you went to 12 different hardware stores ASKING for 12x1.25 and they dont have it. That is a pretty common bolt, i have a box filled with them. Why havent you tried the transmission bolts? They might work, i dont know.... give it a shot. Who knows it could even be the same holes that you could mount the stand to.

If you find the part number on one of the many online EPCs, there is a way to use the part number of a bolt to get the dimensions of it.
