1st is your car an EX? If it is your keyless entry runs through the radio and you will lose it by taking it out, if not then you will just lose your dome light but you already figured that out. The green plug back there is the alarm plug, there are two wires that you have to jumper. I don't remember the colors but I can find out when I go to work today, I haven't done one in awhile, but you can use a paper clip and connect it to one wire and touch it to the rest until the light goes on.

If the radio is the same as the 6th gen civics. The alarm/keyless entry works through the radio. I believe there's a second harness on the radio.... if so, the green/blk and green/red have to be joined together. This will solve the dome light issue...... if it's not like the 6th gen civics, make sure to check your fuses and also the dome light bulb itself.
