Default doing a vtec swap, some questions id like answered, please help

I got a sohc vtec free ( d16z6) from my uncle who is leaving for iraq, I have read and heard some peoples say I can use the stock wiring harness from the del sol its going in, even though the engine currently in the del sol is non vtec, is this true? if not where can I find a wiring harness for it? The vtec is in a totalled del sol SI and the wiring harness may be able to be saved but im not sure. all of your help will be greatly appreicated, thanks.

Yes you can use it, you just add 3 wires for vtec (one being a ground wire).

I've read before that all del sol s's wire pre-wired for vtec (not positive though), just as all 92 civics were pre-wired for vtec (dont argue about this one people, its a fact). If so then its just plug n' play, if not then do as mentioned above and wire it up that way. If you need a wiring harness for the head any z6 harnes will work out of any 92-95 z6 equipped civic.

1 ground, 1 for the VTEC solenoid, and 1 for the VTEC pressure switch. http://www.ff-squad.com/tech/w...5.jpg

The VTEC solenoid wire is on a 1-wire plug & the VTEC pressure switch is on a 2-wire plug (one for the pressure switch and the other is the ground wire); so you can tell the difference.
