Default doing swap from y5-y8 intake mani. Few questions HELP

Ok i got the y8 manifold and just noticed that the y8 mani. didnt have the idle air control valve and my y5 did how do i make this work. without the vale the car doesnt idle up at warm up and it doesnt kick the ac up when turned on, anyone got any sugestions

y5 and y8 manifolds are the same except for the egr system. so there is no performance gain in it now if you are doing y7 to y8 then yes it will help. both y5 and y8 idle vavles are on the back of the manifold. the egr is on side by the fuel rail is that what you are talking about?

i just did a mini me and want to change out the intake mani. to get ride of the egr valve and on the y8 there is a place for the iacv but there is no holes actually drilled into the manifold so i am asking how do i remove that without the idle going weird and if i remove the egr valve what is this going to screw up??

is the y8 mani. off an automatic, i belive the iacv was in the trottle body on those and used a three wire instead of a 2 wire.

i really dont know that would be a good question is there any way to completely bypass the idle air control valve??
