Doing a swap and ran into some trouble, need help!!!
I am putting a 1st gen B16 into my 94 civic DX and I was told I needed a Del Sol Vtec or 92-95 IGSR distributor. Well I got one and it doesn't fit. How am I supposed to put it on there? Do I force it or do I take it apart and switch out all the internals so the original mounting plate can be used?

you shouldve gotten a distributor with your motor, unless you bought from an unreliable source....

My motor came with a distributor, but it isn't compatible with my OBD-I car, so I needed a new one. I have the new one, now I just need to know how to make it fit.

it is possible you just don't have the cam insert for the distributor turned the right way when you mounted it. i felt really stupid when i did that the first time. or does the base just not match the configuration in the head? more info!
