allright.. i have posted alot from IA and Steven (aka b18hatch) told me to come here to get more info on what i needed. I have a 1997 Honda Civic HX with d16y5 the stock motor. I am looking to do an Ls/vtec swap in my car. As of right now i dont have the money to do a full build up but i want to go ahead and get and ls block with internals and the b16 head and put it in my car and get everythign running then after that worry about rebuulding it later down the road. Here is a list of what i am thinking i will need. please correct me if i am wrong.

-Ls block(complete with oil/water pump and starter)
-Si B16 head(with dizzy)
-Golden eagle conversion kit
-Tranny (going with the ls)
-Axles (ls to go with tranny)
-b16 wiring harness
-Mounts
-Si b16 ECU
-Del sol ac bracket (to make sure my ac works)
-b16 header

i have never done a swap before and i am trying to get all the information i need. parts.. how to's.. pros.. cons.. and where exactly can i find these parts. i have tryed to googlw and try and find just the ls shortblock but i cant i only find the full motors. any websites would be greatly apprciated.. thank you verymuch -michael

just like doing one in a 97 ex except the o2 sensor and ignoring the egr wires.
