Doing a leakdown test what percentages are they supposed to be at???
ok im planning on buying a 2000 b18b1 longblock with 89,xxx miles. he is going to do a leakdown test for me before i buy it. what are the percentage that it's supposed to be at for it to be good? is it supposed to be at 0% only??? he said when the motor was on the car before he pulled it out the compression were 180 across the board. before i buy it i want to see a leakdown test myself.

the cylinders will leak no matter what cause they are not completely sealed.. but you should see on a warm motor about 50-10% on a good motor. on a cold motor you can see as much as 15% per cylinder. anything higher i would be cautious
