Doing Auto to Manual Swap this weekend, any Advice i need?
I am doing an auto to manual swap on a 97 civic HB. I got a full manual swap (and motor d16y7 with 120k) for $300 so i will have everything except the wiring harness.
Now the wiring harness will conect straight up to mine and all i have to do is do the wire those 3 wires together and rewire 2 wires?
Any extra advice i should be given?
I almost have everything out of the car and i still need to do the pedals. Im a little well actually nervous about doing this i just hope that i can get everything in and working.

just dont get discouraged, like it may seem hard at times and like you can't do it but if you get lost come read some articles and it should get you back on track, it isn't the hardest thing. Although getting the tranny in without a lift is kinda hard

i recently did auto to manual. i found it is much easier to change just the brake pedal rather than the whole assembly just remove the bolt that it pivots on and the spring and swap it out.
or maybe you already knew that

No just get a couple of cutting wheels. you will be fine.
you don't even need to take the brake pedal off just cut it to fit. i did that before and it worked great.
