I recently purchesed a 1992 Honda Civic, with a Dohc ZC Swapped in, and for some reason, the motor seams to not like it when I idle. The RMP's will jump from 500 to 100 to 700 back to 5, Im not really sure what is wrong as A. This is the first car I have ever bought and didn't do the work myself, and B. Have no clue what could cause a problem like that. Does anyone have any ideas on a repair? Or is it something I am just blindly overlooking?

umm its a common honda issue with idle probs. do a search for idle issues in the search box, located at the upper right corner right above ur post. search bar is a tool with good results . and idle issues can vary like iacv most common prob and there is a few more i cant remember off hand

the FITV fast idle thermo valve might need cleaning, is there a cel?
