it can be done, you will need to get the correct ecu and wiring harness to run it. also look to make sure mounts arent needed, im not to big on the zc info

i just think it would be a fun swap.. i just contacted peter at ry wire about a harness.. i have a lot of aftermarket parts for the zc like vitara pistons..stage 2 clutch ..arp head studs ect..
i love to do this over the winter...just not sure what i would need for mounts..i can use my d16y7 hydro tranny...and then convert to obd1 ... use the oem crx/civic shifter and modify if needed
any others know about this?
zc`s love boost and so do i that's my future outcome...and i don't wanna do a mini me ..there a little to common and like i said want a fun swap

Best way would be as follows:
-OBD1 DOHC ZC IM and fuel rail
-OBD2 Y8 Injectors (If you are staying N/A)
-OBD1 DOHC ZC distributor housing (theses are very difficult to find) with your old Y7 CYP/CKP/TDC sensors

^~~~plus obd2-obd1 conversion harness w/p28 chipped...
being it's built i dought hes staying N/A lol.

id use the obd1 z6 intake manifold use a obd1 zc dizzy with a dizzy conversion harness(rywire), swap the thermostat housing because ur fan switch changes location and diff style plug. pretty much make it obd1 and get a conversion harness for the ecu

Why waste a P28 on a non vtec engine, just chip a P06.

You can't use a Z6 IM, its a different bolt pattern than a ZC.

great thanks alot for the info...
now how would you mount that on the drives mount ?
the wiring is no problem..and i was thinking about the p06 ecu with a chip
i have both a zc and 2 d16y7 harnesses... also have access to the y8 injectors untill its boosted ..

any more info i should need?
