Default DOHC vtec del sol radiator

quick question... is the hose inlet and outlet the diameter of an integra or a civic?

I have the same radiator in my car and i used my stock civic upper and lower hoses. This should be a direct bolt-on. Took me 15 mins. including draining the coolant. Got mine for $135 shipped from radiators.com

well i am using my stock cx radiator and i am using the stock B18C1 radiator hose and the integ hose is a lot bigger than the civic hose. i have no leaks though and i did buy the appropriate hose clamps.

I believe they use the bigger integra clamps.

yep, its plug in play. I also got mine from radiators.com You might want to think about replacing that CX radiator, since you have so much more power with the B18C5

my $.02

Yup, my cx radiator lasted 3 months after my swap. I was at a light one day and noticed my temp needle on the red and coolant everywhere.

i see everyone mentioning they got them from radiators.com..but i've been there and there is nothing specific about a 'DOHC' Del Sol..it just lists 'Del Sol 1.6l'. how do i know that i am ordering the DOHC radiator or not?

I believe the DOHC VTEC Sols had the Dual Core radiator.

yes...i know that. but i'm saying radiators.com doesn't have a 'DOHC VTEC' del sol listed....so how do you know you're getting the DOHC radiator?

I called and spoke to a rep. I told them I have a 96 Del Sol DOHC VTEC and they took care of me. The only thing you have to tell them is that if it's auto or manual. It's dual core and all metal.

B-Cruz, you just need the radiator. The radiator bracket you have now will work along with the cap and the hoses.

I ordered mine almost a year ago, off the website and you had the option of three radiators for the 93-96(?) Del Sols, one of which was the DOHC VTEC Radiator. I guess its been changed.
