Ive always been told that you can interchange any D series head with any D series block. But you cant interchange a B head onto a D block and so on. You get it.

hes' speaking of the dohc d-series ZC motor.
The 1.6 vtec motor replaced the dohc zc man, there no use in swapping heads. you can make dohc power out of a single-v
