Does the rear come lower than the front end on a 2000 si stock?
Completely stupid question i know but i'm blatantly new at this so please bare with me. And btw i could not find an answer to such a dumb question by doing a search so stfu.
I was under the imperssion that my front end would be lower as the engine and whatnot are much heavier than anythign i could fit in my trunk. So, sitting level groudn with just a sub in my trunk, i have about 2 inches of space between my wheel and well and in the front i have almost 6. I dont get it.
My wheels are being put on on saturday plus a nuspeed spring install ( 2.0” F and 1.8” R) so even after i drop it it seems as though my front end will still be up higher than the back.
This isn't normal is it?

I dont think its really lower...I think the arch on the wheel well doesn't go up as high as it does in the front...i notice the same thing with my 2000 coupe
Just get some coilovers and adjust the ride height accordingly

The springs in the front were longer on my 2000 EX than the rear, and I'd assume it's the same with the Si; although it's to compensate for the engine weight.
The ride height is the same front and rear, but the rear appears to be lower because the fenders back there have less of a wheel gap than int the front. That's just the way it is, so don't worry about it.
^^ beat me to it...

im not planningon getting coilovers which is why i got springs. and besides, that doesn't explain why its like that.
The arc between front and back is really meant to be a 4 inch difference?
hmmm
thats ghey
