Does MAACO do any body work?..or do they just sand and paint?

i'm sure they do. .Mario on here got his bodywork/paint done by them, and I got my car resprayed by them as well.

turned out great for what I paid: https://honda-tech.com/zero....plus the 4 year warrantee doesn't hurt either, so far its holding up well through daily driving and weekend track duties paid 425

nope, for both .Mario's car and my car, they did all the prep work....

I dont know about Colarado since i think most of the Maaco's are franchise owned. But i wouldnt trust my local Maaco to put on an emblem, or buff out a scratch on my door handle.

You bring them a green car and you tell them you want it painted black...they'll wheel that bitch in, tape off the headlights and taillights (not remove, tape off)..and go to town with the black..right over the green. Looks good for about a week, if you can get by all the overspray.

my car was macco'ed and personaly i think it sucks!
my friend had it done maybe like 4-5 months ago and yea theres going to be rock chips in the front, but i used PAINTERS tape and pealed it off and a HUGE chunk came off. and then on the side moldings there are fatty *** ripples. like you can feel them and be like EW!!!

idk thats just my opinon i guess but i wouldnt go there.

i had mine done and it was one of the best things i did for my car lol

i preped it sanded and threw some primer on there and they sprayed it

had the car back in less than 24 hours

i gonna have the car done again at macco it should come out better now that i spent alot of prep work on the car this time, not do a ruf sand and use primer spray cans

yea well how much did you pay for that.. probably alot less because you did all the prep work yourself.. i know for a fact there was none done to mine. Im just saying that if you dont get prep work done then its going to come out shitty. easy as that. and mine came out shitty with RUNS and ****.

I had a Maaco job on a lease return vehicle 2 years ago, and ended up with a bill to re-paint the whole car because of orange peel. At this point even if I prep a car for paint, I still wouldn't trust the Maaco that's around where I live.

yea for real, idk i might go back but i will have to see some of the other cars they have did before i do anything. who knows maybe it was just my friend.

No reason to hate on Maaco.. if you want a cheap, low quality job, go to Maaco. If you want an expensive, show quality paintjob, go somewhere else..

Maaco sucks and if you can afford a better paint job go somewhere else. I payed 500$ for mine and it turned out like complete **** and they make you sign a waiver stateing that if they mess up the car it's not there fault. Also make sure they primer your car, I payed my maaco a extra 80 bucks to use better primer and they still used none. There body work is the worset, there in a rush so most of it turns out half *** and it cost alot. To redo my my moms minivan with crappy body work and paint was like 1500$ and rust is already bleeding through and this was 9months ago. Oh and make sure you tape the lights off and stuff before you go there, they get overspray everwhere and forget to tape stuff. If your not planing on keeping the car or it's not a show car get a maaco paint job, if not save the 500$ towards a real paint job!
