does anyone make an aftermarket starter?
I was just wondering i remember seeing one somewhere i think. My starter just went out and i was gonna try it if i can remember who makes it thanks

I know summit use to carry one, but I dont see it in the new catalog. You should check there website out and see.

You can get aftermarket starters at NAPA or whatever. They have an odd sound to them; you can tell it's not a Honda starter

lol, no i dont need it to start quicker i was just wondering and i was figuring if someone made an aftermarket for the same price or cheaper why not get that one

I got mine from autozone, no issues at all. been about 1 year now. BTW my alternator is also from autozone too lifetime warranty! also no problems. starter has lifetime warranty on it BTW.
BTW both are cheaper then oem.

i really doubt that you need an aftermarket starter, aftermarket starters are for huge engines (500+ in.) with really high compression, not for small engines like those in civics.
