Default Does anyone know how to check codes on a obd 1 conversion ? ( researched )

I helped a friend swap a H22 OBD1 into his OBD2 Civic. Check engine light is on and I can't find info on which pin to ground to read codes from the check engine light flashes. Does anyone know which pin to ground ? Thanks for your help...................
