Re: Does anyone have V2 Dyno's yet? (purek9hybrid)
Someone on this board has an Integra that was used in the development process. He was one of the first people to have one and he said he would have a dyno soon. That was like 2 months ago. I am so curious to know.
does anyone know who that was?

2 bad u got a d16y7 ur not going to get any power out of it, i bet like 3hp, they had the test on turbo mag the CAI (Old ones) gave the car 1.6 Hp on a EX D16y8 and the V2 gave it 4.1hp, ditch the old y7 manifold and get a y8 or a y8 race manifold.

Quad-Damge, even guys with lowly DXs are allowed to enjoy their cars and post pics.
Next week the 5Zigen Fireball cat-back gets installed. I hope you won't mind if I post pics of that either.

Just a suggestion. Instead of taking your car to a shop you should try to learn how to install bolt ons by yourself and save some money. Bolt ons are REALLY easy to install and don't require any special tools.

Hey yo "I can't believe this ****." Let me get something straight. I love my car. It doesn't even have power steering. I got a great price on it. I recently came into a little money and decided on a CAI and a catback exhaust. I think it's money well spent. I do not let comments like yours deter me from enjoying my car. I am SURE it was cool of me to post pics of the CAI. So far I am enjoying the sound of the V2! If you are telling me it didn't add any power then I bow to you and accept your comments like some accept those of the pope's. hehe
zzZZzzleeperCX, regarding the wipers. You are right. I wasn't sure if I was doing the right thing when I painted them. I thought it would go well with the wheels but I don't really like it.

don't take other people's comments personally, they're just saying that you coulda saved the money that you payed for the installation on other things.

The additional 25 hp comes from a few things...Mainly the addition of VTEC. The manifold allows more air to enter the head.
If you slap the Y8 manifold onto the Y7 head, you gain several HP, but not 25.
Just FYI, stock hp numbers from the Y7 are 109, and the Y8 comes at around 127.

How much did installation of that bad boy cost? Just curious as to the going rate these days so I can start fleecing the locals when I get out of college
