Does anybody know how to disconnect or turn off the safety headlights on my new hatchback???
 

I just bought a new civic hatchback and the safety headlights are on 24/7!! They look pretty gay and i was wondering if ANYBODY knew how to disconnect them?? Thanks~

They make a new Civic Hatchback in US? Are you sure it is new, or it is an EK, if so... the parking lights should not be constant all day.

no... its not new. Its a 2000 HB. I think they call it the daytime headlights or something. It stays on all the time until i turn the car off. How do you turn it off??

just rip some wires out it's all good!! http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emsmile.gif an re-connect them @ night!! best i can tell u is run down to the library and check out a chiltons (sp?) (AKA a car bible of any kind) an see what it tells u. http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emsmile.gif i think also it had something to do w/ either the ignition or the e-brake!

unplug the harness from the bulb.

yeah... there was a fuse for the daytime running lights. Thanks alot man...
