Does aftermarket/performance axles do anything?
Are there aftermarket/performance axles that are somewhat lighter and stronger to make the wheels spin faster?

i know there are stronger ones but i don't know about lighter, gator makes some axels, maybe try looking at there site, if they are lighter im sure they will tell you.
although im not too sure if the lighter would nescacarly help performance. (ill probably get owned on this statment)

Re: (95civicracer)
they are stronger.
lighter? i doubt it.
yes lighter axles would be better. Less rotational mass is a good thing and will definitely have an impact on performance

Re: (Sketch_hs)
the thing is about axles is that they are right on the center of rotation so their rotational mass is hardly a factor in ratational mass. its just like if you had a lead bar that was 2 inches long compared to a 7foot wood pole. If their given weights are the same the lead bar will still rotate easier than the wood pole because the ends are nearer the point of ratation. And since the axles ARE the center of rotation their weight is of little concern for calculating rotational mass. They factor in a tiny bit but you should be more concerned about the wheels and tires.
