ok, what about a chipped p28 uberdata. is there an option to disable it or anything. what exactly does this do? will it affect performance? will i need to replace the whole fuse box or just this part?

basically a eld detects any abnormal voltage in the system. if it drops or raise, the eld detects and throws the code. changin out the underhood fuse box is easy, couple 10mm bolts, 2 phillips connectors for the positive lead and the underbox harnesses. swap over all fues and reverse of installation. pull back up fuse to reset ecu and hopefully by then ur all gravy.

sure its this easy? so where would this abnormal voltage be coming from because changing the fuse box wont do anything..would it?

prior to the cel for the eld, did u do any electrical work? another reason for the eld to come on is a failin alternator as well. get that check, its free at most autoparts store. but if u did some electrical work prior to the cel, trace ur leads and check for any shorts and open wires.

the only thing that i can think of was the ground wirre from the transmission to the chassis i move because it was in a real gay spot. its now connected to where the battery ground is (the same bolt is grounding them both)
