There are no rear speakers, but I did notice on the wiring harness for the head unit that there are wires that are designated for rear speakers. Do those wires go all the way back to the rear speaker holes? I couldn't find any speaker wires back there.

Basically I'm just looking to add a pair of 6.5" speakers to the rear and want to know if I need to run wires from the head unit back.

Lay down the rear seat and hop into the trunk. Dig around under the rear package shelf, and look for the wires tucked between the sheet metal and the fiber cover...there's 0-3/4" between them, so skinny fingers will be helpful. They'll be small (24awg or so) and kinda stiff, with grey plugs on them just like in the front doors. I can't attest personally, since my EX came with the factory 6 speaker system, but if the wires are there, you'll be able to find them.

I did that today and couldn't find any speaker wires in there
