Does a 01 civic have a ....
We jsut boughta 2001 civic ex and wanna make a copy of teh key. are these keys chipped or can i just go make a copy anywhere and it will work?

Yep, 7th gen Civic keys have chips. You have to take your VIN and proof of ownership to the dealership to have one made - and they're not cheap.

you also have to have all the keys and all the remotes you have with the car to program that key to your car.
