.....92 Si hatch, 86000 Kms, new tires, Alpine CD player. I haven't looked at the car in person yet, but they are selling it for $6900 Canadian which works out to about $4200 American. Is this a rip-off? Thanks for your help.

OK thanks...I can't get ahold of the guy anyway...I'll try to talk him down in price if I can. If I can't. I won't get it.

Yeah, too much...I looked at several so far...one place wanted $5,900 US for a 92 cx 111k mileas in HORRIBLE condition...totally trashed.

Another place wanted $3,500 for a White 92 CX Canadian model...135k miles...they wouldn't bend.

Another place wanted $3,900 for a 1995 VX with a little damage...and 120k miles.

Hang in there, you'll find something, and so will I. No need to pay one penny over KBB. KBB was about $2,500 or under on all three of these cars.

$4200 doesn't sound that bad, considering people are selling SI's for
upwards of $5k for cars with a 150k on them. this has 86,000km
which is like what, 60,000 miles. I don't think it's that bad a price.
You won't find a 92 SI any cheaper with those miles.

I probably would have gotten the car already but the guy appears to never answer his phone or be home. I think I might get a cheaper hatch (cx,dx,vx) and use the extra money to swap in a b16....it'd be more reliable than going turbo on the d16z I think....

I guess the guy isn't to eager to sell it, because he never answers his phone or calls me back. Oh well....

It's a decent price for an Si from what I've seen in the AZ market. I'd still get a CX myself.
