Default Do they make LSD for...

I been posting topics about LSD. I'm trying to know what they are all about and I have bee getting some good info but there is one thing i'm not too sure about. Well..I got a couple friends with DOHC motors with the LSD tranny. Do they only make the LSD for DOCH motors? I have a D16z6 SOHC. They make one for my car right? THanks guys/gals!

JDM D15B's had an option for LSD...which really isn't that good of a unit anyways.

Go with an aftermarket LSD....Kaaz, Quaiffe, etc.

most Japanese importers get these trannies...but they go pretty quick.

Same gearing as EX/Si trannies

Quaife LSD (Torque-Biased Diff) has a lifetime warranty even under racing conditions.

It doesn't necessarily mean you have it. Both tires could be spinning, but one could still have a lot more power going it anyway. LSD's will help a ton in a straight line, but they help even more around corners. Instead of the inside tire spinning when powering out of a corner, it will transfer power to the outside tire which will pull you like magic around that beast.

This should be true for both FWD and RWD.

I have a Kaaz LSD, and just love how I can now apply the power in a corner without the right front wheel losing traction.

Don't believe the rumors about a Kaaz being noisey, mine is very quiet after the break-in.
