Do they make LED rear lights?
92-95 civic coupe... i'm looking for the type of lighting that u see on the new cadillacs, if u ever tailed one of the new models, u'll know what i mean. They shine up really bright red. I'm sure they're LED, i think...
Do they make them for civics?... thx!

Re: Do they make LED rear lights? (dclub01)
To expand without starting a new thread, I'd like to know exactly what bulbs on my hatchback can be replaced by leds. And what bulb is the 3rd brake light on a hb spoiler? Thanks.

They make LED bulbs, check with APC and the likes. I had some for the hell of it, but they burned out after a few months.

Superbright LEDs can help you. I have these on my motorcycle and they are by far the best ones I've seen as of yet.

LED's typically should far outlast the life of the car. You can buy LED bulbs that replace the standard automotive bulbs. The AutoZones around here sell some by another company other than APC. They stock them along with the regular light bulbs, and not in the ricer section. The problem with them is that they don't really make use of the reflector inside the light housing, so you only get a little spot of light instead of the whole housing lighting up. I've seen them on a few cars and trucks so far (used in stock taillights). I'd like to get a set for my turn signals, but probably not for tail/brake lights. The Caddys you see have a full LED array across the entire area of the lens, so it light up much brighter than just a simple 1156/1157 LED retrofit.
