here it is. it broke along the first hole each time. if you have it, get rid of it before its too late. for this product

I think you summed it up with JG
The Edelbrock version of the JG is strong, and made of 7075, which is 50% stronger than 6061.
Sealed bearing??? why would you need a sealed bearing?? They just use a bushing joint at the bottom. Its not a rollerblade!

Please don't confuse this with the (JG) Edelbrock shifter. I just checked with our warranty department and we have never had one returned for any reason. Not only that the design is considerably better than shifter shown in the picture.

Yeah i had a dx and when i got my gsr swap i used the gsr shift linkage and it feels like the short shifter i had on the dx. I like the stock gsr throw.

Re: !WARNING! Do not purchase... (Marauder)
Short shifters in time will ruin your synchros. And for me, any short shifter will rattle against my exhaust piping because the ball is so much lower.
P.S. I have a short shifter in my car right now and sure the throw is shorter but I can only shift as fast as my tranny and synchros will let me....if I shift any faster, it will grind.

A short shifter will not hurt your tranny...only the operater of it can hurt it. If you properly shift you wont hurt it. The problem with a short throw is that if you are not carefull shifting, your arm can be quicker than your clutch foot. Just because you have a short throw shifter doesn't mean you have to slam it into gear. btw...its not the ball hanging lower, but the lower joint hangs lower....no rattle problem with most cat-back exhausts.
My car is sponsored by Edelbrock and has their short shifter installed (the new hard anodized one). I talked to the head of their tech dept and he said they have never had a broken one returned. I wonder why all these claims of people braking shifter in such a short amount of time and they never call the tech line or return it.
