do i really need to upgrade my brakes from cx?

i am getting brakes very shortly and was wondering if it is really necessary to upgrade to civic si 99 si that is or even gsr hte car will be road racinf quite a bit and also a daily driver?

upgraded brakes are always a plus- bigger brakes wil fade less- it's really up to you- i upgraded my crx brakes and I love it

Yuo will want to go w/4 wheel disc if you're R/R.
