do i need to change piston and piston rings before install turbo?
I just wandering because i hace a civic 95 vtec 1.6L and i want to know if i have to upgrade other stuff before installing a turbo

How many miles?
You're better off doing a complete rebuild rather than just pistons/rings. lol.
Try getting some aftermarket pistons. I suggest if you dont know the answer to your question, you should do more research on boosting before you actually buy a kit.

if your gonna run alot of boost, then you should get new pistons, piston rings, rods, and possibly a cam.

Do at least a few weeks of research on this topic before you go ahead and do anything. Sites like d-series.org and turbod16.com will cover this topic extensively.
As for your question...yes. If it's a stock D16z6 change the piston rings because they are worn out. You don't have to replace the pistons (can handle 290hp) but it is strongly recommended that you do because your gonna want to crank that boost
