do i need to buy a ob2 to ob1 conversion wire harness to use a p72 ecu for the b20 swap?

im going to use a b16 tranny with gsr head..is that a good combo?

also i've searched here on this thread about this and i didn't really get a good explaination about why do a conversion. is it cause of the sensors, emission and so on... someone pm me so i can learn. oh yea sorry to thread jack. also sounds like a good combo if you go all motor, why don't you get a type r head?
