do i need another flywheel?
well i recently pulled out the engine and tranny out of my 94 Ex after pulling the tranny away from the motor and the clutch off I noticed the flywheel had a small crack in itand what looks like it got pretty hot can i machine it or should i just chunk it and get another one?

heat cracks. i have had friends resurface them, and run'em. for me it would depend on how bad the cracks are, but might wanna replace it.

ya replace it!
even a small crack if it gets worse thats alot of work to pull the old one out!
and while you got the motor seperated id also suggest going ahead and replacing the engines rear main oil seal! IMO
oil leak can also be a PITA which might also effect the clutch life...

ive got a buddy with a fully built b16 turbo and at the track his flywheel blew apart, completely trashed clutch/gears/ and even the housing, tore up his rad and some other ****, doubt it would happen to you but its def not worth the risk
