Default Do I need this??? ***Sorry no pic***

Ok, I have a 1993 honda civic dx coupe and it looks like someone took out the ac set-up which is fine by me. Anyways it looks as if there is a bracket for the ac compressor still on the motor, it's on the front of the engine and looks like it extends out into the area right in front of the wheel well. Can I take this thing out????

it is a torque mount it is there for a reason dont take it out it keeps the engine from twisting. unless you have aftermarket motor mount dont. some take it out but i dont see why. I am sure some one is going to say the same thing as me and some are going to say the exact opposite.
