do i have to redo my timing if i get new heads?!?!

Default do i have to redo my timing if i get new heads?!?!

im buying new heads and i was not sure if i needed to redo my timing if i do this? as long as i keep it at TDC ill be good right?

yea if this is a B series lock the cams in TDC with 2 pins and make sure the bottom is at TDC put the timing belt on retighten the tensioner and your set. installinig a b series heas u will need to remove the cams in order to install it. a d series SOHC is even easier and the cam can stay in as u install the head just when u instakll the belt try to make sure all the slack is to the firewall side of the car so the tensioner can take care of all the slack in the belt.

Yes, still with an d16z6 need to re time, make sure when old head comes off the number 1 cylinder is at TDC and then there will be a marking on the cam that you want to be lined up with where the head and block meet.

no not a hard task? can sometime be a little time consuming but very straight forward task man!

take it to a shop if u dont kno how to do it. better safe then sorry. not that hard tho

realy? oo well can i get a link or someone tell me how. im do it my self type of guy you no lol. screw shops!! if they can do it i sure can lol!
