Default do a bunch of little mods or go turbo

(stock ek4 with i/h/e and no back seats/spare tire/some carbeting gay y7 tranny and like i said d16y7(IM sucks as well as not vtec)).
i cant decide if i should go with little stuff like a mini-me swap, tranny, clutch, full suspension kit, brakes, little exterior things like lights and carbon fiber hood. or should i put all my money towards turbo and keep on saving. i am an amateur driver so it would be safer to go the first way but turbo does sound more fun. what would u guys do. thanks to any ideas or replys

boosted K24/K20 frankenstein FTW!!!!!!1!111!

But if you don't have the money, I would seriously do a motor swap first and foremost.

Then worry about boost or modifying tht motor.

The D16 just isn't all that if you ask me. Not unless you go ALL OUT with it. It will never be better NA than a B that is NA with the same mods and tuning. It is your money though, do what you want.

If money is a real problem, do a y8 intake manifold, and build a junkyard turbo setup:

CRX HF manifold
Adapter Plate
Mitsubishi/Volvo/Subaru/Saab/Audi Turbo
DSM 450 injectors
Resistor Box
Some Bent SS/Alum piping (charge pipe)
A Saab/Vovo side mount IC
Chipped ECU
Various fittings, couplers
Return/Send Lines, Vac Lines
Ebay FPR

under $1000 and you've got a turbo y7. y8 isn't ****, vtec is rather impotent, especially on fast-spooling turbo-d's.
